I guess my ranting and raving against Bush is rubbing a (very) few people the wrong way. I'm sure I've alienated several readers with my anti-Bush postings but that’s ok, everybody has their opinions. Don’t worry, after the election the rhetoric will slow down quite a bit but I guess it might help if I explained more on my dislike for Bush Jr.

-I don’t like faith based leadership. In politics it's unhealthy to rely on a book that has been rewritten several times and most likely written by mortals with agendas hundreds of years ago. It doesn’t apply today and really doesn’t belong in a mosaic society (BTW: There are many religions, and they are all different!)

-I've never liked the right wing and their general ideology, less gun control, banning abortions (Even in cases of rape!), ruining the environment for short term financial returns, only helping stop genocides if you have invested interests (Because stopping genocide in only good sometimes right?), increasing the war on drugs (Even though research shows it just makes drugs more expensive, creating more violent crime to feed those habits and making drugs cartels and dealers even more rich), and on and on and on.

-Let's get it right out in the open, I don’t *really* think Bush is Hitler and he has never done anything nearly as bad as Hitler, I don’t think he planed 9/11 to boost his polls and justify wars for oil, I'm more realistic than that. We don’t live in the X-files here people, most celebs cant take a dump sideways without someone's maid or whoever selling the story to inside edition for 10,000$, so the odds that the President of the United states planned a terrorist attack to boost his ratings is a little over the top.

-Iraq and Afghanistan were not entirely mistakes, they were just handled WRONG and somebody should be accountable for that right? Or do we just forgive him because we love his party, his daddy and all his buddies? Taliban/Al Qaeda in Afghanistan, I get it, they blew up your buildings, you needed to kick some ass, and I was with you guys, we ALL were. Then Bush thought it was an opportunity to finally get revenge on Saddam for trying to kill his dad, something he had planned since day 1 in office (Look it up, its documented). So what does he do? Instead of gathering support for a multi national force, he goes in against over a hundred countrie's opposition, relies on intelligence he knew was shady to start another war, leaving the troops in Afghanistan stretched too thin for supplies and armor, and sending in stretched out troops into a much bigger battle. He should have waited for the rest of the world and he could have; evidence has proven there was NO IMINENT THREAT, no "smoking gun that may come in the form of a mushroom cloud". He knew it.

Anyways, I could go on for hours, and if you are a Bush supporter, nothing will ever change your mind, even if you read the evidence again (But all those dozens of articles are liberal media right?) .READ IT.

Congrats go out to the Boston Red Socks for winning their first World Series in 86 years! They did it in fashion last night with a 4-0 sweep of St. Louis under a blood red moon. Ok maybe it was cloudy for them but did you see the eclipse? That was awesome, it was dead clear out here and it looked really cool to see the whole thing transform. Make sure you check out the new Eminem video and in fact, send that link to ALL your friends, post it on msg boards, whatever, it’s the most inflammatory thing I've seen since Fahrenheit 911 and it must be seen by a maximum number of people before the election! Got the Alter Bridge concert and Halloween coming the day before, usually I go out to a club or party for Halloween but this will be the first year with my first home so I will stick around and scare the few kiddies left in this fairly "elder" neighborhood. The Alter Bridge show should be awesome, the word is from earlier dates they are making new fans in droves, the live show is simple yet refined, every single song blowing everyone away, can't wait!

I also forgot to mention that I got a call last week telling my wife and I that my sister just got engaged! Wedding won't be for a while, now I wonder if it will be in Canada or France? Guess which one I'm rooting for :)

Ok, the US election is a week away and the planet is freaked out. If you are reading this and think I'm an idiot for thinking so, take some time to travel outside your state/country and talk to people, find out what the world thinks of a president who starts pre-emptive wars for shady reasons.

They don’t like it, and as a result, they don’t like you.

That can change, and it's going to start with the ouster of Bush Jr. next Tuesday, do what you can, get out there and vote! Get your friends/family to vote! And yes, vote for Kerry because as much as I hate the 2 party system, the only reason Nader is on the ballot is because republicans helped him get there in order to dilute the democrat's support. Either way I feel bad for Kerry, he will either lose, or win the worse job in the world, cleaning up Vietnam2, crap economy, allies that will need courting and endless environmental and political messes Georgie left behind.

Van Halen was damn good! Alex Van Halen probably performed the best drum solo I've ever seen at a live show and Eddie seared his guitar on several occasions, I'm very glad I saw that :)
