My mp3 player is giving me some problems so instead of exchanging it for a new one, I'm getting some different toys to play with. The mp3 player had been cool but in terms of this, I would rather wait for 512/1 gig flash players that can use USB 2.0 instead of the ultra slow 1.1 transfers.

For 20$ more after I exchange the mp3 player I can get the USB 2.0 based ADS DVD Xpress , an external video capture unit that goes for 159$ and the Panasonic CD300 cd/clock radio to make getting up less painful :)
